IMPORTANT:
If you are in any doubt about how to use a chainsaw correctly, we recommend speaking to your local STIHL Approved Dealer first. Many dealers offer a Click & Collect service, where you can order online then collect it in person where a trained member of staff can give you a full handover and instructions on how to operate the machine. Please note you should never use a chainsaw whilst on a ladder and should only use it in a tree if you have the appropriate qualifications.

#1CLEANING YOUR MSA 140 C-B
When you have finished using your chainsaw, remove the battery and wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Don't forget to wear gloves when doing any maintenance on the tool.
#2LOOKING AFTER YOUR BATTERY
Don't use a damp or wet battery in your MSA 140 C-B and avoid using them in extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold). Read our blog post to find out more about looking after your battery.

Store your MSA 140 C-B in a clean and dry area and keep out of the reach of children at all times.

Don’t forget to check your work area for wildlife before starting to use your tool. In particular, you should check for nesting birds before trimming hedges, as well as checking for other small animals such as hedgehogs before trimming long grass.
